Dark Spray Tan As An Artificial Bleaching Agent

By Haywwod Hunter

Using dark spray tan eradicates the need of having to sit for long hours in the sun. You will get a natural tan that is as impressive as that one gotten from the basking in the sun. There is no need to visit tanning shops either. The market has very many products that can be used to get the result you desire. The tan that you achieve in this way can last for one week to ten days which eliminates the need for daily tanning.

There are different types of these products including a spray tan booth. What you do is get into a booth. Once there, the nozzles present on the side of the booth spray out the tan on you. There is always a technician present at the salon whose work is to control the boozer by spraying the tanning lotion at you.

When starting to tan your skin, you should begin by with a lighter shade. This is mostly the case in people with very light skin. It helps control the level of darkness as the first one may be sufficient in some cases. This will make the darker shade better when you apply it later. Tanning products are available in various forms such as mousse, spray and lotion. Exfoliation of the skin on a regular basis can help improve the results. This can be done weekly or monthly.

After applying the tanner, you need to apply maintenance products for the results to be good. You should therefore be able to identify the signs that your skin requires another maintenance coat. Maintenance of the tanned skin is very important as it makes it last a long time. The first tan should be done with the lightest shade of the spray. This helps in controlling the level of darkness required for the tan. People with very light skin may not require an additional tan as the initial one may suffice.

The life of tanned skin is about 7 to 11 days. There are factors such as skin type and kind of work you do will determine how long your tan lasts. Tanning done at the best time and followed up by proper maintenance can last a long time.

Other methods people use to get a tan can be harmful. The sun for example has negative effects on the skin such as skin burning and skin cancer. Tanning products contain dihydroxyacetone (DHA) as the active ingredient. This chemical is harmless to humans and it is used to manufacture cosmetics and other skin coloring products. This chemical has been approved for use by the Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) as fit for use by humans.

Although skin tanning products are used they do not guard against effects of the rays of the sun. They do not contain the sun protection factor (SPF). Therefore, a tanned skin is still unprotected from harmful UV rays. Sunscreen will still be necessary even after applying the tanner.

Many people have discovered the benefits of using dark spray tan. There are no risks associated with its use. People with very sensitive skin find it very comfortable to use as they do not have to tolerate the torture of the rays of the sun. It involves limited costs as there are no other costs involved apart from the lotions.
