Diamond Water: Does Diamond Energy Make The Water Healthier?

By Alderin Ordell

Trying to find Diamond Water? It might be the healthiest water ever bottled. However, there are some facts you may want to think about before spend as much for a bottle of water as you would a cup of coffee!

Diamond Water is created by Asa Soltan Rahmati. She describes it as a 9.5 pH alkaline water that has been improved with "Love Energy" created by a ritual using diamonds. She is one of the superstars of Bravo's Sahs of Sunset, a supporter of an alkaline lifestyle featuring alkaline food and water, and has college degrees in psychology and ideology.

With a name like Diamond Water, you may think you're drinking water with diamond dust in it. That's not the case! It's called Diamond Water because the water is supposedly infused with diamond energy, which Rahmati describes as "the highest spiritual vibration that brings balance to your soul."

The other characteristic of "Diamond Water" is that it is alkaline, a 9.5 pH. 9.5 pH is widely believed to be the perfect pH for drinking water. Studies have been done on glacial streams, longevity springs, and even the so-called "Fountain of Youth" in Lourdes, France and one characteristic common to these waters is the 9.5 pH. People who drink water from these sources are much healthier than the general population, with reduced cases of adult onset diseases like cancer and diabetes and longer lifespans.

According to the Diamond Water website, an alkaline 9.5 pH drinking water can "help prevent disease," and "boost your metabolism," and even "neutralize acid in your bloodstream."

But there is ANOTHER important characteristic that was found in the waters at the longevity springs, the Fountain of Youth, and at the glacial streams and that's called negative ORP.

Negative ORP is defined as the "oxygen reduction potential" of the water. In other words, it measures the antioxidants in the water. When water has a negative ORP, it has a wealth of ions to GIVE. When we drink this water, it offers those extra ions to unstable oxygen molecules in our cells called FREE RADICALS. When the free radical gets the extra ion, it is transformed into oxygen that our body absorbs as ENERGY.

A negative ORP in your water will CLEANSE your body and make you feel great with lots of ENERGY.

Pretty spectacular, huh?

The problem is Diamond Water does not claim to have a strong negative ORP. They are mum about the process they use to make the water alkaline.

Without knowing how Rahmati makes her Diamond Water alkaline, we just don't know if it has any antioxidants in it. Before I spend nearly $3 a liter, I would certainly want to know that!

Here's something important to keep in mind: if water is removed from it's source of ions like the sun, it will BREAK DOWN. Antioxidants will fizzle away just like carbonation fizzles out of a soda. Once the water is broken down, it will OXIDIZE your body, which is a fancy word for RUST. So, water may be alkaline, but if it has a positive ORP, it will steal electrons from your cells and DAMAGE THEM.

The ancient diamond ritual aspect of Diamond Water is a matter of faith. You have to ask your ask do you believe Asa Rahmati can change water with diamond energy? And if she can, can she do it effectively to all the water that is bottled in her factories?

Let me suggest an alternative to Diamond Water: water ionizers. A water ionizer restores water to a natural state. It filters the water to 99.99% purity using advanced filtration systems that can even remove fluoride and heavy metals. This purified water is then run through water electrolysis chambers that mimic the sun's process of energizing water. The best part is it works! In the end you get a perfect 9.5 pH water full of antioxidants!

Water ionizers were invented over forty years ago in Russia, so they are among the most documented health machines ever made. There are hundreds of clinical studies that you can read on all the health benefits of ionized water produced by a water ionizer.

If you're still considering Diamond Water for nearly $3 a liter let me throw out just one more point.. Over the lifespan of a water ionizer, the average cost per liter of water made is only $.0164. That's less than two cents a liter! You have to consume an average of eight ounces of water every hour to keep hydrated. How much are you willing to spend?
